2012 Storytimes Starting at Library

Chilly winter days are a perfect time for young children to cozy up with book, and Okanagan Regional Library branches in the North Okanagan have begun their popular children’s programs for free family entertainment. All programs are drop-in, so enjoy visiting all the branches in your area.

The Vernon Branch runs several Storytimes at their location on 32^nd Avenue:

Preschool Storytimes are 30-minute sessions with stories, puppets, and songs for 3-6 year-olds held every Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 10:30 am. and on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. These sessions run until April 4.

Toddlertime is for children 3 years and under with a caregiver, running on Wednesday mornings at 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. from February 1 until March 7.

Pyjama Storytime gives families a chance to wear their pyjamas to the library! It will be held on the last Wednesday evening of every month from 7 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. beginning January 25.

The Armstrong Branch at 3305 Smith Drive will hold Preschool Storytimes for children aged 3-5 years every Friday at 10:30 a.m. beginning on January 27 through May 25.
