A two car accident on Waddington and Highway 6 this past Tuesday sent one woman to hospital with undetermined injuries after her east-bound Corolla was hit following the white van’s turn onto Highway 6 towards town. The accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. and tied up traffic and emergency crews while they cleaned up the mess. Captain Brent Bond of Vernon Fire Rescue says major damage was reported to both vehicles. The van’s male driver was uninjured in the collision. Vernon RCMP are investigating the crash.
