Police are considering charges after a simple vehicle stop in the Enderby area Friday.
Spokesperson Gord Molendyk says at around 6:30 p.m, officers from their traffic unit were working near Canyon Road when they decided to stop a Dodge pickup - towing a trailer – for tail-lights that weren't working.
"Officers did a check of three sleds in the trailer, one of which was confirmed stolen out of Lloydminster, Alberta in 2010," says Molendyk.
The other, says Molendyk, was reported stolen out of Vernon in 2009.
Of the three sleds that have been seized, two were confirmed stolen, and the third – also believed to be stolen – will be checked further as a result of a damaged Vehicle Identification Number.
Police are continuing their investigation.
